Hi I'm McKayla and I am a GEM missionary. I love the Lord and life! I have a passion for telling others about Him and His love.

 

My journey with GEM began in January of 2018. With GEM I was able to go on a 10 month long internship from June 2019 - April 2020, where I served at a local Christian Community Centre in Birmingham, England. During my time there I was primarily teaching English to Muslim women but also assisting and leading other classes such as baking and sewing. I also participated in outreach to the community, as well as helping out with the administration side of the Centre. I greatly enjoyed my time in Birmingham. I felt the Lord calling me into long-term missions and in July of 2020 I was appointed by GEM to serve long-term in England. I returned in early 2022 and am loving being back! I just renewed my visa for another 3 years, I am excited to see what the Lord has in store!
